Make ahead Green Smoothie

In a juicer extractor add:
4 stalks Organic Celery (with leaves)
2 cups packed Organic Spinach
4 stalks Organic Kale
1/2 med size Organic Cucumber
1/2 chopped lemon
1 large or 2 small Organic Sweet Apples
Pour into smoothie shaker or enjoy immediately!


Oatmeal on-the-go

Serves 1

In a travel container mix:
1c Steel Cut Oats

2 tbls Chia Seeds

1 tbls Raisins
1 tbls Hemp Seeds
1 tlbs dried shredded coconut (optional)
Add Cinnamon, Nutmeg, & Cardamom to taste.
When ready to eat, mix with hot water and/or your favorite nut milk. You can also add fresh fruit for a hardier breakfast or snack. Enjoy!


Fig and Avocado Salad with Radish Sprouts

Serves 1-2 people. Prep time 15min.

2 c dark leafy greens (kale, baby spinach, mesculin salad mix, etc)

1/2 c bite size avocado

4 ripe fresh figs, cut into quarters
small handful radish sprouts

1/4 c hemp seeds

1/4 c beets

gamashio (sesame seeds & sea salt)

good quality dark balsamic vinegar (my favorite is Pure Mountain 

olive oil & vinegar)

extra virgin olive oil

Wash, thoroughly dry and tear greens. Take handful greens and top with avocado, figs and sprouted radish. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Season with gomasio, salt and pepper to taste.

Healing Immunity Soup

Serves 4, Time 15min prep, 30min cooking

4 c filtered water/organic vegetable stock

2 king oyster mushrooms

1 lg handful beech mushrooms

1 lg handful enoki mushrooms

bushel of miatake mushrooms

1/4 c torn dulse

1/4 c flower chives chopped

2 tlbs tamari

1 tlb gomasho

1 tlb white miso per serving bowl

Bring broth to boil while cutting up mushrooms. Place mushrooms in boiling broth. Reduce to simmer. While simmering add tamari & gamashio, chives. Laddle over dulse. Thoroughly mix in 1 tlb miso into each bowl before serving.

Clean Wild Rice with Seasonal Peaches and Kale

Serves 1  (recipe can easily doubled)

 2/3 c leftover wild rice

1/4 c unsweetened almond milk

1 seasonal peach, chopped into bite size pieces (frozen organic ok)

1/8 c raisins

1c finely chopped kale

1/8 c hemp seed

Cinnamon, Tumeric to taste

Place wild rice milk and raisins in single serving glass dish. Sprinkle with Cinnamon & Tumeric to taste. Top with finely chopped kale, peaches and help seeds. Can be warmed in microwave for 1 min or eaten cold. Enjoy for any meal of day. Mix well before eating.
